Lightwell House Typology | Charlottesville, VA | Spring 2012 & 2014
This house typology strives to provide a flexible housing solution to address issues concerning limited natural light in crowded urban environments. Designed around a central lightwell, which pulls natural light into the home and also acts as structural element to organize interior spaces. The house has a narrow plan allowing it to be inserted into voids in the urban fabric.
